1. Promoter and contact

The promoter is LUSTRE CRYSTAL EXPERIENCES (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2026/719668/07 (LUSTRE). These rules govern the Wedding 2026 Giveaway for the LUSTRE Signature Three experience.

For competition enquiries, privacy requests or a free copy of these rules, email hello@lustreexperiences.co.za or call / WhatsApp +27 66 529 2104. Entry signifies agreement to these rules, subject always to your statutory rights.

2. Competition dates

Entries open on 20 September 2026 at 00:00 and close on 30 September 2026 at 23:59. All dates and times are South African Standard Time (SAST, UTC+2). Only entries received within this period qualify; late entries do not qualify.

The initial random draw takes place on 1 October 2026. Any announcement on that date identifies a provisional winner only. Final confirmation follows verification of the entrant, wedding and venue.

The wedding must take place at a venue in KwaZulu-Natal between 7 October and 31 December 2026, inclusive.

3. Who may enter

You must be a natural person aged 18 or older at entry, entering for your own wedding, and meet all eligibility requirements when the winner is selected and verified. Each partner may enter separately for the same wedding. Only one wedding experience will be awarded.

Directors, members, partners, employees, agents and consultants of LUSTRE or any person or entity directly or indirectly controlling or controlled by LUSTRE may not win. Suppliers of goods or services connected with the competition, competition marketing service providers, and the spouses, life partners, business partners and immediate family members of these persons are also excluded. Anyone otherwise prohibited by applicable law is ineligible.

No purchase, entry fee or payment to LUSTRE is required. Ordinary internet or mobile data charges charged by your own provider may apply; LUSTRE imposes no premium-rate entry or communication charge.

4. How to enter

On either official account linked on this page, follow LUSTRE, like the official Wedding 2026 Giveaway post and comment on that post with your own wedding date and venue. Only the designated giveaway posts accept entries; comments on other posts, direct messages and comments on this website are not entry routes.

There is one base entry per person across Instagram and Facebook combined. Entering on both platforms, posting repeated base comments or using multiple accounts does not create additional base entries. If you use both platforms, LUSTRE may privately ask you to identify your accounts to reconcile your entries.

Your qualifying entry and required follow / like must remain verifiable at selection. You need not make your entire profile public. Keep your account able to receive messages and respond to a reasonable private verification request. Do not publish identity documents, your telephone number or home address in comments.

Late, fraudulent, automated, impersonated, spam or otherwise non-compliant entries are excluded using these published criteria. LUSTRE will record the reason for exclusions; technical difficulty alone does not give LUSTRE an unrestricted right to reject a valid entry.

5. Instagram bonus entries

After making a valid base entry on either platform, you may earn up to three bonus entries by commenting on the official Instagram giveaway post. Each separate qualifying comment must tag a distinct, genuine engaged person or couple. Each comment earns one bonus entry, regardless of how many people are tagged.

Do not tag yourself, fake accounts, unrelated accounts or the same person or couple repeatedly. No automated tagging or spam is permitted. Tagging both partners of the same couple in separate comments does not earn two bonuses. A tagged person is not automatically entered and must enter for their own wedding to participate.

Facebook tags and shares do not earn entries. Sharing is not required on either platform. The maximum is four entries per person: one base entry and three valid Instagram bonuses.

6. The prize and what is included

One eligible wedding will receive temporary use of the LUSTRE Signature Three: three crystal chandeliers, transport to and from the qualifying KwaZulu-Natal venue, professional installation, ordinary safe fixing and suspension hardware, and removal. The chandeliers remain LUSTRE’s property and must be left for LUSTRE’s team to handle and remove.

The estimated commercial value is R25,000–R35,000, depending on the venue and logistics. This is an indicative value, not a cash award. There is no entitlement to a cash difference, cash alternative or unrelated service. The prize cannot be sold or transferred to another wedding.

There is no compulsory purchase, deposit, transport surcharge or claim / administration fee for the included experience. Venue hire, catering, other wedding services and unrelated third-party charges are not prizes. LUSTRE will not require the winner to buy additional equipment or services to receive the advertised experience.

The prize excludes additional structural supports, specialist lifting equipment and supplementary rigging infrastructure. A venue that requires these additions does not qualify for the advertised installation. Images are illustrative and do not promise a particular room layout or completed installation.

7. Venue, structural and safety requirements

The venue must have existing beams, trusses or building structures suitable for safely suspending three chandeliers weighing approximately 30 kg each. Suitability depends on individual fixing points, the combined loads on any shared structure and the full installation method. The stated weights are approximate and are not structural certification or permission to suspend the chandeliers.

Written venue approval, safe access, appropriate electrical provision, suitable heights and clearances, and a safe installation and removal plan are required. LUSTRE will assess these matters with the venue and suitably competent professionals where necessary, using documented safety and access criteria. Neither the entrant nor venue should rely on visual appearance alone to confirm structural capacity.

The entrant must facilitate contact with the venue and provide reasonably requested existing structural and access information. Ordinary safe fixing and suspension hardware is included. LUSTRE will not proceed where safe installation depends on excluded specialist equipment, additional rigging infrastructure or structural alterations.

Transport is included throughout KwaZulu-Natal. Distance alone will not create a surcharge. Any unsuitable venue decision must be based on the published safety, access or installation criteria, with the reason explained to the provisional winner.

8. Installation and removal arrangements

Installation and removal times will be agreed with the winner and venue according to access, safety and practical feasibility. Setup the day before and removal the day after are not guaranteed. The winner must enable reasonable coordination and obtain venue access for the agreed times.

Only LUSTRE’s authorised team may transport, install, reposition or remove the chandeliers. The installation remains subject to safe conditions at the venue, including relevant weather and electrical conditions. No new undisclosed purchase or publicity condition will be imposed when arranging the prize.

9. Random draw and independent oversight

After entries close, LUSTRE will preserve the entry records, reconcile duplicate accounts and base entries across both platforms, validate bonuses and compile one consolidated register. Each valid base or bonus entry has an equal chance in a documented random draw. A person with valid bonus entries therefore has more chances than a person with a base entry only.

An independent accountant, registered auditor, attorney or advocate must oversee and certify the conduct of the competition in accordance with regulation 11 of the Consumer Protection Act Regulations. This rule describes the required process and is not a representation that a particular professional has already been appointed.

The draw on 1 October 2026 selects a provisional winner, not an unconditional award. LUSTRE will privately verify age, identity, excluded-person status, wedding date, venue and installation feasibility. Only information reasonably necessary for verification and prescribed competition records will be requested. Documents must be supplied through an agreed private channel, never public comments.

10. Contact, verification and alternative draws

LUSTRE will contact the provisional winner by direct message from one of the official accounts linked on this page. The entrant has 48 hours from the sending time recorded by LUSTRE to respond. This deadline is for an initial response, not completion of the venue assessment. LUSTRE will agree and record reasonable deadlines for further information and venue coordination, taking the wedding date into account.

If the provisional winner does not respond within 48 hours, declines, or is shown not to meet the published eligibility or venue requirements, LUSTRE will record the reason and randomly draw another provisional winner from the remaining valid entrants under the same process. Entries belonging to an excluded provisional winner will not be included in that redraw. The same 48-hour response period applies.

No confirmed winner will be announced before verification and written acceptance. A provisional announcement will clearly state that verification is pending. Public announcements will be limited to necessary information; identity documents, private contact details, wedding dates and venue details will not be published unnecessarily. Any identifiable promotional announcement is subject to the voluntary publicity provisions below.

If no eligible entrant can accept and receive the advertised experience after the documented process, LUSTRE will record and explain the outcome without claiming that a prize was delivered. Entrants retain their statutory rights. LUSTRE will never request payment to release the prize.

11. Wedding changes, safety and unforeseen events

Tell LUSTRE promptly if the wedding date, venue or access arrangements change. A replacement date or venue must meet the same published criteria and fall within 7 October–31 December 2026. LUSTRE will assess the change reasonably with the winner and venue; a change is not an automatic forfeiture.

Before confirmation, failure to meet the published eligibility or venue criteria is handled under the alternative-draw process. After confirmation, LUSTRE will not automatically treat the winner as a provisional entrant or withdraw the award merely for convenience.

Where unsafe conditions, venue cancellation or circumstances outside reasonable control prevent the agreed installation, LUSTRE and the winner will first seek a safe and reasonable alternative by agreement where possible. If no solution can be agreed, the consequences will be addressed under applicable law, preserving any remedies available to the winner. Nothing compels an unsafe installation or excuses liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

LUSTRE will not retrospectively introduce undisclosed entry or prize conditions. Any necessary lawful correction or change will be dated and clearly communicated on this page and the official accounts, with existing entrants’ accrued rights protected.

12. Personal information and privacy

LUSTRE CRYSTAL EXPERIENCES (Pty) Ltd is responsible for the competition information it processes. It collects account handles, qualifying comments, wedding dates, venues, tagged-account references and entry timestamps from the official posts; contact details and necessary identity, eligibility and venue evidence may subsequently be collected privately. Public comments are visible to others under the platform’s own settings and policies.

Information is used to administer and reconcile entries, prevent fraud, contact and verify provisional winners, arrange the prize, handle complaints and meet legal recordkeeping duties. Entry is voluntary, but information necessary to establish eligibility and deliver the experience is required to participate or receive the prize. Processing is limited to lawful competition administration, applicable legal duties and other lawful grounds under POPIA; entry is not blanket consent to unrelated uses.

Access is limited to authorised personnel and necessary service providers, including the independent overseer and installation / venue coordinators where relevant. Regulators or other authorities may receive information where lawfully required. LUSTRE will use reasonable organisational and technical safeguards. Meta processes information under its own policies and may process it outside South Africa; any separate overseas transfer arranged by LUSTRE must comply with applicable POPIA requirements.

Prescribed competition records are retained securely for at least three years, and longer only where a lawful purpose or obligation requires it. Other personal information will not be kept longer than necessary and will then be securely deleted or de-identified. Not every entrant will be asked to provide identity documents; additional winner records may be legally required.

You may request access or correction, request deletion where legally available, or object to processing on applicable grounds by emailing hello@lustreexperiences.co.za. Withdrawal of optional consent does not affect the prize; statutory recordkeeping may limit deletion. If information essential to verification is unavailable, LUSTRE may be unable to confirm eligibility.

Entry does not subscribe you or a tagged person to a mailing list or authorise unsolicited marketing. This page does not contain an entry form or collect competition submissions. For a privacy complaint, contact LUSTRE or the Information Regulator using the links below.

13. Optional publicity and photography

Attendance at the draw or announcement, photographs, video, testimonials and other marketing participation are voluntary. You may decline without losing your entry or prize. Separate, specific permission will be sought before identifiable wedding content or your identity is used for promotional purposes.

Permission from one entrant does not authorise use of another partner’s, guest’s, photographer’s or venue’s rights. Appropriate separate permissions must be obtained. Any content permission will explain the intended use and applicable rights; no unlimited publicity release is a condition of winning.

14. Instagram and Facebook

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram or Facebook. LUSTRE, not either platform, administers the competition and supplies the prize.

To the extent permitted by law, each entrant releases Instagram and Facebook from liability arising from the administration of this promotion. This does not exclude any non-excludable statutory rights or liability. No sharing to personal timelines or tagging on Facebook is required or rewarded.

15. Questions, complaints and your rights

South African law applies, including the Consumer Protection Act and POPIA where applicable. These rules do not exclude liability for gross negligence, unlawful conduct or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and do not remove any statutory remedy.

For entry decisions or complaints, contact LUSTRE at hello@lustreexperiences.co.za or +27 66 529 2104. LUSTRE will consider concerns reasonably and explain material decisions. You may approach the National Consumer Commission, the Information Regulator for privacy matters, or any other competent forum; you do not waive these rights by entering.

A free copy of the rules is available on this page or by email. Competition records and rules will be made available to the appropriate authorities as legally required.
